ASMP Tennessee Presents Video Workshop: Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011

ASMP-Tennessee will be presenting an all-day video workshop on Saturday, October 1, 2011. The tentative schedule looks like this:

Morning Sessions:

  1. Overview of DSLR cameras, tripods, lighting
  2. Overview Audio equipment: recording devices and microphones
  3. Demo sessions featuring photojournalistic news coverage and basic music video production setup

Lunch - included in workshop price

Afternoon Sessions:

  1. Basic interview setup with multichannel audio
  2. Wrap-up

Parish Kohanim to Speak to Nashville Photo Community Monday, May 16

ASMP Tennessee is proud to announce that Parish Kohanim, an Atlanta-based photographer and Canon Explorer of Light, will be speaking to the Nashville photo community on Monday, May 16, at Dury’s camera store in downtown Nashville (map). There will be a social hour starting at 6:00 and the program will begin promptly at 7:00. Parish’s presentation, entitled “Igniting the Creative Fire Within” has received rave reviews from audiences around the country, and we are looking forward to an inspirational and entertaining presentation. Admission is $5.00 and the event is open to the public.
